TRUE cloud PROTECTOR

 Job 20:4-7

King James Version

4 Knowest thou not this of old, 

since man was placed upon earth,

5 That the triumphing of the wicked is short, 

and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

6 Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, 

and his head reach unto the clouds;

7 Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: 

they which have seen him shall say, 

Where is he?

GOD wired me for words.

His "secrets" are in His WORD.

He knows I love words, so He gives me TONS of clues.

And we have a wonderful time sifting through the words.

Unraveling the meanings, true meanings, and double meanings.

With earthly words being corrected by heavenly words.

That's why I pay attention to EVERY word the LORD alerts me to.

Today, His SPIRIT led me to this intriguing phrase:

"Protector of the Cloud"

That was the Crowdstrike marketing tag line.

I knew what they were referring to -- cloud storage.

Is it really safe, fool-proof, impenetrable?

Well, the global outage the past days proved otherwise.

But we are not here to feast upon the misfortune of many.

The word "cloud" merely triggered a different thought in me.

That's what we'll explore here.

Thanks to SPIRIT Who always leads me to GOD's WORD.

Which happens to be JESUS.

So I turn to Scripture.

What does the Bible say about "clouds"?

GOD and clouds:

Exodus 13:21-22

King James Version

21 And the Lord went before them 

by day in a pillar of a cloud, 

to lead them the way; 

and by night in a pillar of fire, 

to give them light; 

to go by day and night:

22 He took not away 

the pillar of the cloud by day, 

nor the pillar of fire by night, 

from before the people.

Right there, I could end this article.

Verses worthy of meditation.

GOD is the TRUE "cloud cover".

The TRUE protection.

The One leading the way.

But we must continue.

For the Bible has much more to say:

and stood at the door of the tabernacle, 

and the Lord talked with Moses.

GOD's cloud never goes wrong.

But ours, does.

Crowdstrike had an update gone wrong.

Affecting 30,ooo customers.

With 300 being from The Fortune 500.

Experts say the update should have been tested first.

I've always wondered why people would want to store data in a "cloud".

That feels so abstract, and it probably is.

But forgive my ignorance; I'm no tech expert.

All I know is nothing man-made could be fool-proof.

We're not GOD. we're humans.

Thus the convenient excuse, "human error".

Whether it be error in design, tech, or judgment.

Let's face it, and accept it.

With man, there will ALWAYS be "glitches".

And it's something we must not take personally.

As they say, "It just is."

At best, we learn from our mistakes.

That's the lesson that sticks most of all.

Remember the Y2K problem?

They had to "manually" fix EACH computer.

Until it became Y2K "compliant".

We learned the same thing about the Crowdstrike issue.

EVERY computer has to be "manually" fixed.

Experts reveal it will take days, and weeks.

Who knows, maybe longer?

Everything has to be tested.

And re-tested.

Imagine the "damage control" measures being undertaken.

Surely, there is not one area of home, business, or government, untouched by the incident.

Of course, the first ones to be fixed are the big clients.

Because their legal teams are perpetually on stand-by.

They say no hacking went on.

Still, hackers came in AFTER the incident.

As is to be expected from vultures who smell "food".

Thus, they went "phishing".

Such is the way of man.

Feeding upon an already weakened system.

Getting the spoils, instead of helping.

Is GOD's judgment upon us?

All that greed, and desire for world domination?

So caught up in ourselves, and not in GOD?

Acting with our head "up in the clouds"?

All that pride and ego will fail, and fall.

Proverbs 18:12

the heart of man is haughty, 

and before honour is humility.

The tech cloud may appear to be man's.

But all clouds -- tech and heavenly -- belong to GOD.

Only through Him, can we have REAL protection.

All our man-made "devices", and "defenses", issue no real protection.

No matter how well-thought-out we think they are.

Only JESUS offers us true SECURITY, PROTECTION, and SALVATION.

John 14:6

I am the way, the truth, and the life:

It's time for man to acknowledge, and bow down to GOD's power.

Let ALL our creations come from GOD, be of GOD, be for GOD.

That way, we receive GOD's SEAL of APPROVAL.

Ensuring we truly serve our brothers, and sisters, in the world.

Who, we must not mislead, through our false sense of self, and glory.

Let us remember the LORD of ALL.

Does it matter so much we're always in the know, tech-wise?

Does it matter what people think of you?

Is it wise to do so?

Or, would you rather put your faith in CHRIST?

In the ONE, TRUE LORD of ALL.

It can even create neurosis in you.

And to what end?

That you're always in the "loop"?

Worshiping the latest gadgets, sports heroes, music mavericks, fleeting fashion, latest tech.

And whatever else this fallen world deems "cool", and "must have".

Making sure your heart stays farthest away from GOD.

That's the enemy's plan.

To keep you "occupied".

So, he can "occupy".

The Bible did say:

Sure, we're all running a race.

Not a race to find who's the smartest, most famous, and wealthiest.

To believe, and get caught up, in his perverse world.

Making us superheroes, transhumans, defying gravity, causing addiction, perpetuating ego, vanity, violence, and loss of reality.

Truly gateways to the fallen world.

For this post (for there are many devil's devices), consider the following:

Simulated reality

Augmented reality

Extended reality

Transhumanism

Metaverse

Satan has greatly influenced man's thinking, creating little gods of themselves, others, and technology.

So very ripe for more idolatry.

And yet man gloats along, not realizing future destruction.

He's had a taste of the enemy's power.

Illusion, and delusion.

And there's no stopping Satan and his followers.

I mean, in this world today, who doesn't like trends?

Who doesn't want to know the future?

Who doesn't want to conquer the world?

All roads seem to lead to that now.

World domination.

Pleasure.

Desire.

Greed.

Vanity.

Perversions.

Lust.

All smoothly-cloaked with the slickest, undetectable promotion.

By the GRACE of GOD, the true born again looks to a wary eye at such distractions.

He knows they lead to destruction.

And we would have no part in your ruin.

We stick to the WORD of GOD.

Nothing can be more MAGNIFICENT than knowing the WORD of GOD.

Through Scripture.

Through the ministrations of SPIRIT.

Through the gifting of the LORD JESUS.

Man is not a robot, to be designed upon, or manipulated.

He carries the breath of GOD.

He is a living soul.

Genesis 2:7

7 And the Lord God formed man 

of the dust of the ground, 

and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; 

and man became a living soul.

We are not to be part, and party, to Satan's plan.

In mocking GOD's spiritual creation.

In taking over the world to defy GOD.

As if Satan would ever have a use for us, once he's achieved his goal.

Everything GOD created is SACRED.

The world is swiftly going down the drain.

Into an abyss where Satan belongs.

Now, people think it's cool to explore and invade all virtual realities.

Exploring, and expanding, its many cool uses.

Thinking himself brilliant, indestructible, and powerful.

Shades of Satan, I say.

Such delusion.

"Yeah, but it's just a game," you'd say.

Or, "But it's the future!"

Alternately, "It's the latest trend, gadget, or cure."

A born again doesn't think so.

We live by the Bible.

We are attuned to GOD's WORD.

JESUS is the ONLY physician we have.

We do not tamper with GOD's creation.

We have ABSOLUTE faith in the LORD JESUS.

We have ABSOLUTE respect for the LAWS of GOD.

The ONLY POWER we recognize is GOD.

Romans 13:1

If anything, this life is THE simulation.

For the REAL life is with JESUS.

But Satan has it all reversed.

He makes us think this life is the real life.

And that we are to aspire for that simulation.

To imagine what could be possible.

All have been prophesied, through Scripture.

We know our beginning, our present, and our future.

Both believers, and unbelievers, alike.

We are mortals, subject to age, decay, and death.

After the original sin, GOD deemed it so.

Only GOD appoints the day, or hour of our life.

Our times are in GOD's hand.

Psalm 31:15

15 My times are in thy hand: 

deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, 

and from them that persecute me.

We need to be delivered from many enemies that try to capture our soul.

Science and technology are but mere pawns to the enemy's scheme.

More than ever, we must pray to be born again, that we may know GOD's truth.

Without JESUS, what would we know?

Without the HOLY SPIRIT, what would we remember?

John 14:26

26 But the Comforter, 

which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.

The battle for the soul is real.

There will be tiny voices in the wilderness (like ours), reminding you to return to the LORD.

In these last days, stay closest to the LORD.

For the pull of technology is strong.

JESUS did say:

the spirit indeed is willing, 

but the flesh is weak.

It takes but ONE angel to bind Satan.

Really think about that, in case you get caught up in the enemy's power.

Revelation 20:1-3

which is the Devil, and Satan,

Further, what are you doing flirting with virtual reality, simulated reality, or augmented reality?

Get real.

GOD is a LIVING GOD.
