For the longest time, I've been wondering what happens to our electronic waste.

You know, old TVs, computers, cellphones, printers, scanners, cameras, and other electronic gadgets.

I live in a third world country, and I've observed shops buy these.

To be re-sold, or they take out reusable parts, and pieces.

If it's a collector's item, it gets a high price.

The rest are thrown, given away, or sold for whatever price.

But my country has gotten spoiled, too.

Now, they also don't want old stuff.

Everyone wants the latest gadget.

The marketers have really worked on the young.

So, I wonder what happens to unwanted electronic gadgets.

Can the world sustain all our junk?

There are also FREE e-waste drop off events.

Thank GOD for the creativity of some entrepreneurs.

Who always find a use for other people's junk.

But I still think, at the rate we're going, junking everything still usable, and buying new cars, or gadgets, first chance a new model comes out, maybe these organizations may not be able to keep up.

Everyone wants faster, more powerful gadgets.

"Toys" as they would call it.

There was a time man did just fine, without all these electronic stuff.

Let's just not be addicted to things of the world.

Let's focus on JESUS instead.

Colossians 3:1-2

3 If ye then be risen with Christ, 

seek those things which are above, 

where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above, 

not on things on the earth.

PROGRAMMING man to COVET

 

JESUS said:

Take heed, 

and beware of covetousness: 

for a man's life consisteth not 

in the abundance of the things 

which he possesseth.

How is man being herded?

A sly marketing strategy has been in place.

"Planned obsolescence", it's called.

Where artificial life spans are given products, and services.

Never mind that the products are still in good shape.

They create things to go obsolete, well before their time.

You're programmed to change phones, every six to eight months.

You're marketed to buy the latest car models.

Everything's been "engineered" to make us want to buy.

And replace old models, even if they're still usable, sturdy, or roadworthy.

It's always keeping up with the Joneses.

Marketers have latched on to creating that artificial need in us.

We are being herded to buy, as often as companies want us to.

We are constantly being tempted with all kinds of gizmos, and attractive propositions.

Newer chips, processors, models, looks, colors, styles, fragrance, performance.

Must-have, they say.

And people literally buy into it.

We often end up with duds.

Clamor for new models, gives rise to consumerism.

And drives people into debt.

Not to mention, mania.

Who created that sly, slick trick?

Manufacturers, and marketers, of course.

It's all been rigged, right from the start.

The day your baby was born, manufacturers, and marketers kept an eye on him.

I correct myself.

BEFORE he was even born, he was already eyed, and feasted upon.

In total contrast to how GOD eyes us:

GOD eyes us, for His rightful GLORY.

The world eyes us, for Satan's glory.

Everything's been "engineered" to keep us buying.

To keep us slaves to a greedy economic system.

Keeping us in debt, for the rest of our lives.

Marketing gurus have fed on these insatiable needs, and wants.

They program us to keep buying.

Till we can't buy anymore.

By then, they have fat bank accounts.

And we're kept paying, till our lives run out.

Not everyone's financial savvy.

Not everyone's tech savvy.

All the better, they say.

But GOD's got his plan, too.

But what happens to the old models?

electronic ARMAGEDDON

 

Zephaniah 3:8

8 Therefore wait ye upon me,

until the day that I rise up to the prey:

that I may assemble the kingdoms, 

to pour upon them mine indignation, 

even all my fierce anger: 

for all the earth shall be devoured

I knew there was going to be a 55th blog.

SPIRIT led me to it today.

Taking me back into time, wherein I had a warning dream 20 years ago.

Recalling that dream today, I started researching on electronics.

And found these things.

Twenty years ago, GOD plucked me from the big city, and re-planted me back in my small city.

He ignored all my protests.

Instead, He gave me more disturbing dreams to pay attention to.

I wrote them all down, that I may remember.

One particular dream had this phrase imprinted upon my mind:

"electronic armageddon"

With a small "a".

Symbolic.

A "destruction" of sorts.

And the way was already shown.

Through "electronics".

The times reveal truth in it.

Even as it's a 20-year-old dream.

Now, technology's taken over the world.

How would wars be fought now?

Nanotechnology makes everything possible.

Whether in medicine, business, or government.

We have allowed A.I. to take over.

Will it start thinking, for itself?

Have we programmed it to be so?

GOD gives us leaders that reflect ourselves.

Let us not be surprised at the chaos.

It's all been prophesied.

As born again, all I care about is that everything conforms to GOD's laws.

That it respects every person.

JESUS said we were to love one another.

John 13:34-35

34 A new commandment I give unto you, 

That ye love one another; 

as I have loved you, 

that ye also love one another.

35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, 

if ye have love one to another.

I look upon my own life, and noticed something.

In the past, GOD always plucks me out, RIGHT before technology hits my studies, or work.

Seems He wanted me untarnished by trends.

For, I was to be workman, and observer, documenting the times.

And I'm here to make you aware, through Scripture, that we must only worship GOD.

We must not worship technology.

We must not worship inventors of technology.

We are not to have any other gods, but GOD.

We're all fallible humans.

We don't have the vision, and wisdom GOD has.

Wherein He knows the heart of man.

I'm no prophet.

But GOD led me to Bible prophecy three years ago.

JESUS specifically led me to look into the RAPTURE.

And He gave me many telling dreams.

Most of it can be found, written as spiritual warfare fiction, through this link.

All I do, is pay attention to everything.

The pieces of the puzzle are beginning to fit.

I merely follow the prompts SPIRIT leads me to.

Each moment.

Today, He guided me to look into technology.

Unless we are born again, guided by the SPIRIT of GOD, we won't know how to use technology for good.

Now, we have the means to destroy ourselves.

If our lives are not governed by GOD, we shall surely do that.

Let GOD govern, then!

Apostle John was shown the "Armageddon" to come in the great day of the LORD.

Revelation 16:13-16

BORN AGAIN looks at tech

It all started with a video on tsmc, the semiconductor company in Taiwan.

Curious, I looked through the comments.

How complex the world had become.

And how competitive.

Especially in the world of electronics.

I was getting educated.

People were teaching me about technology.

They were teaching me about geopolitics.

They had thoughts on economics.

They gave names, worth looking into.

Others were baffled, but many seemed tech savvy.

So, that 7-minute video led to these links:

With many, giving credit to pioneering Philips.

I also came upon The Chip History Center, "The Virtual Museum of Semiconductors".

So, I also check semiconductors.

And integrated circuits.

Now, I can look at those companies at leisure, and see what they're all about.

As born again, I take a fresh look at tech.

The HOLY SPIRIT -- teacher of all things -- guides me to every step.

I turn to Scripture for life, work, and guidance.

Now, I can check tech, if it conforms to GOD's laws.
